The International Day of Persons with Disabilities offers another opportunity to proudly and respectfully honor the will, abilities, and inspiring presence of millions of people with disabilities in society. This year’s slogan, “Strengthening Inclusive Societies for Social Progress for Persons with Disabilities,” delivers a clear message: a society grows when all its members can contribute to progress.
In Iranian Paralympic sports, we witness daily scenes of relentless effort, endless motivation, and pride from athletes who surpass the boundaries of “impossible.”
Our Paralympic champions are not only symbols of strength and perseverance but pioneers of an inclusive and equal society. Through their performance and character, they demonstrate how equal opportunities, proper support, and a humane perspective can transform hidden talents into national honors.
Commitment and Aspirations
The National Paralympic Committee of Iran, while commemorating this day, reaffirms its commitment to developing Paralympic sports, supporting active participation of people with disabilities in sports arenas, and fostering an inclusive societal culture.
