World Para Swimming World Series – Japan: Abolfazl Zarifpour Claims Double Gold / Abolfazl Malek-Oladi Takes Bronze / Iranian Team Concludes Campaign with 4 Golds & 1 Bronze

The World Para Swimming World Series in Japan concluded with the Iranian national team winning a total of 5 medals.

According to the Public Relations Department of IRISFD, on the final day of competition:

Abolfazl Zarifpour dominated the Men’s 50m Freestyle (S10), winning gold in the Group A final with a time of 25.94 seconds.

In the junior category of the same event, he broke the national record to claim another gold medal (time: 26.02) and secured a qualification spot for the World Championships in Singapore.

Abolfazl Malek-Oladi, another rising star of Iran’s para-swimming team:

Won bronze in the 100m Backstroke (S10) with a time of 1:11.50.

Finished 4th in the junior 50m Freestyle (28.36).

Other notable performances:

Sina Ziahminejad clocked 25.77 in the 50m Freestyle, earning a World Championships qualification.

Mohammad Karimzadeh placed 6th in the 150m Individual Medley.

Shahin Izadiyar finished 8th in the Group B 50m Freestyle.
