According to the Public Relations of the Federation, an intimate meeting took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 (15 Azar 1404), attended by Dr. Jammalian and Engineer Mahmoudi (Parliament representatives), Shah Hosseini (President and Kargari Vice President of the National School Builders Charity Board and Disabled Support Charity), Zarei (CEO of the Disabled Support Charity Assembly), Hadi Rezaei (Senior Advisor to the National Paralympic Committee President and Sitting Volleyball National Coach), Dr. Rostgari (Bank Economy Novin representative), Daal Insurance officials, Dr. Koohpayehzadeh (Federation President), Board members, managers, and Hadizadeh (Para-Athletics Association President).
Dr. Koohpayehzadeh congratulated on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and Student Day, noting the Iranian Para-Asian Youth delegation departs for the UAE tomorrow. He expressed hopes for health and success across all disciplines during the week-long event, aiming to defend the previous championship title.
He highlighted athletes aged 12-23, emphasizing cultural programs alongside training camps to develop well-rounded individuals in cultural and social aspects. The federation instills identity through cultural coaches, places athletes in study environments to balance sports and education, and addresses all champion development needs.
Milad Beig Rezaei, Elite Sports Director, presented a report on the federation’s Para-Asian Youth delegation.
Dr. Rostgari commended the challenge of maintaining success across diverse disciplines, equipment supply, and camps for all national teams, stating the federation transcends sports as disabled individuals particularly need physical activity.
Following the meeting, officials visited training sessions for the national Para-Table Tennis and Women’s Wheelchair Basketball teams, observed preparations, held cordial conversations with athletes heading to the games, and wished success to Iran’s delegation.
