Athletes from Hamadan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Lorestan, and Markazi provinces competed in both men’s and women’s events across various classifications.
Notable attendees included the Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Sports Caucus, office representatives of the Deputy Head, deputies from the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Hamadan, city council members, and heads of volleyball, athletics, table tennis, and disabled sports federations.
The competition served as a major platform for identifying top talents for the national team and contributed to the development of para table tennis in the region. Teams from Hamadan, Markazi, and Kermanshah secured the first to third places respectively. Top three athletes in each class qualified for the national team selection ahead of the 2026 Asian Para Games in Nagoya.
The closing ceremony emphasized the role of sport in enhancing morale, health, and self-confidence among athletes with disabilities, and praised Hamadan’s successful hosting of the event
