This course, which started on October 31, 2025, and runs through November 3, 2025, is the highest global coaching certification for para volleyball, conducted for the first time as a hybrid of Part A (online training) and Part B (practical training).
Seventeen coaches from 14 countries, including Rwanda, South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, and Saudi Arabia, participate in this program aimed at developing technical knowledge, promoting inclusive sport, and empowering coaches to organize and expand sitting volleyball in their countries.
The theoretical and practical training covers coaching fundamentals, athlete classification, and adapted training methods. The course instructors approved by World ParaVolley include Mousaed Elayoti from Egypt and Nathan Pretorius from South Africa. Participants receive the official World ParaVolley Level One diploma at the conclusion, marking a significant step in their professional growth.
This event also highlights Rwanda’s growing status as a center for inclusive sports development in Africa and its commitment to expanding educational opportunities for coaches and athletes worldwide. Hadi Rezaei’s involvement underlines his influential role in advancing coaching in sitting volleyball globally.
