The Center for Training, Assessment, and Performance Evaluation of the Federation , in cooperation with the ID Sports Association, held a specialized coaching course for adaptive table tennis (ID) with the participation of coaches from all over the country.
According to the Federation’s public relations, the course was held from October 26 to 27, 2025, aiming to develop the technical knowledge of coaches and raise educational standards in table tennis for athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID). Participants came from the provinces of Golestan, Mazandaran, Alborz, Hamedan, Tehran, and Razavi Khorasan.
Dr. Sima Limouchi, an internationally renowned expert in the field, served as the key instructor, delivering specialized contemporary topics in adaptive coaching and significantly contributing to advancing the scientific level of the course.
The presence of coaches from non-disabled table tennis was valuable in fostering a deeper understanding of the needs of athletes with intellectual disabilities, expanding empathy, and enhancing communication skills between coaches of both disabled and non-disabled sectors nationwide.
