In line with support for domestic products and raising the level of national teams’ preparation, the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Veterans, through the installation and utilization of a domestically produced basketball shooting machine, has taken an effective step in improving the quality of national athletes’ training.
According to the Public Relations of the Federation , this device, aimed at increasing accuracy, speed, and training quality for the men’s wheelchair basketball national team, was purchased and installed in the Federation’s training hall. The unveiling ceremony took place with the presence of Dr. Kouhpaye-Zadeh, President of the Federation, Dr. Nasiri, Vice President, Seyed Bagheri and Hosseinpour, advisers to the President of the Federation, and members of the men’s wheelchair basketball national team.
Dr. Koohpaye-Zadeh, on the sidelines of the ceremony, emphasized the importance of supporting domestic production: “The Federation, in the process of preparing national athletes for international competitions and defending the world’s third-place title, has updated training infrastructure. Alongside replacing the training hall’s flooring, a shooting machine was purchased and installed so athletes can participate in the upcoming competitions with increased readiness.”
Soltani, head coach of the men’s wheelchair basketball national team, also thanked the Federation for this initiative: “The use of this device will have a significant impact on improving players’ preparedness. National athletes can effectively strengthen their accuracy and speed in receiving and shooting. This action shows the Federation’s special attention for the technical needs of the national team, and we strive to reciprocate this support with outstanding results.”
This initiative by the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Veterans is an effective step to support domestic production, update training facilities, and boost national athletes’ readiness on the path to future honors.
