Present at the event were Hideaki Omura, Governor of Aichi Prefecture and President of the Organizing Committee; Ichiro Hirosawa, Mayor of Nagoya; and Junichi Kawai, President of the Japan Sports Agency. Their speeches focused on Japan’s commitment to delivering an inclusive and inspiring Games that celebrates the strength and diversity of Asian para athletes.
Kayoko Okubo, the official ambassador of the Games, and Makoto Hirose, a member of the Athletes’ Committee, also addressed attendees, highlighting how the event promotes accessibility, hope, and empowerment through sport.
