The opening ceremony took place on Thursday, October 23, 2025 (1 Aban 1404), with the presence of Dr. Kouhpaye-Zadeh, President of the Federation.
This inaugural national league features nine teams representing six provinces: Lorestan, Ardabil, Golestan, Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, and Alborz. The competition is scheduled to continue until Friday, providing a platform for athletes with disabilities to showcase their precision, focus, and teamwork in the emerging sport of para darts.
The creation of this league marks an important milestone for developing para darts in Iran, promoting inclusivity and expanding competitive opportunities for athletes with disabilities nationwide. The organizers have emphasized that the event aims not only to identify top talents for international representation but also to reinforce cooperation among provincial federations and encourage the growth of adaptive sports programs across the country.
