With the Presence of the Director General of Sports and Youth: National Paralympic Day Celebrated in Mazandaran Province

According to the Public Relations Department of the Federation for, with the presence of Hossein Breymani, Director General of Sports and Youth; Seyed Soroush Sadati Jamali, Head of Special Education in the province; Esmaeil Pahlevan, Acting Deputy for Sports Affairs of the Provincial Department of Sports and Youth; Naghi Mahdavi, President of the Provincial Sports Federation for the Disabled and War Veterans; and Ebad Daliri, Head of the Sports and Youth Department of Sari, the National Paralympic Day celebration was held in Sari.
During the ceremony, Hossein Breymani, Director General of Sports and Youth, while commemorating Paralympic Day and expressing appreciation to those dedicated to this field—including honored war veterans, coaches, athletes, veterans, and members of the provincial Sports Federation, especially Naghi Mahdavi—stated: “The Paralympic is a global movement, and we too must be the strong voice of this movement, promoting public attention and awareness toward it in Mazandaran Province.”
He emphasized: “The medals earned by Paralympic athletes are sources of inspiration and enlightenment for the community of persons with disabilities. Sports serve as an instrument for introducing the great capabilities of this respected and honorable group.”
The Director General also added: “You are not only role models for the community of persons with disabilities but also for all people, proving that with motivation and effort one can reach the highest peaks.”
He further noted: “Developing sports infrastructure for disabled and war veteran athletes is one of our priorities, and we hope—with the support of other responsible authorities—to reduce existing challenges in this field so that the path toward further achievements becomes smoother.
