The medical examinations of the Iranian national youth para-athletics team

The medical examinations of the Iranian national youth para-athletics team, preparing for the 2025 Dubai Asian Para Games, were conducted today at the Sports Medical Headquarters at Azadi Sports Complex.

Both male and female athletes underwent specialized medical check-ups and necessary tests under the supervision of the Sports Medical Federation.

Dr. Maryam Kazemipour, head of the delegation, and Ali-Asghar Hassanzadeh, deputy head of the delegation, also visited and monitored the examination process. The fifth edition of the Asian Youth Para Games will be held from December 7 to 14, 2025 (16 to 23 Azar 1404) in the United Arab Emirates, featuring about 1,500 young para-athletes from 45 countries competing in various para-sports disciplines. This event is key for youth athlete classification and talent development within the Asian Paralympic movement, and Dubai’s prior experience hosting similar events in 2017 suggests a successful organization for 2025.
