The Leader sharply criticized recent bullying and falsehoods of the US president, stating that his efforts to boost Zionist morale through lies about Iran and the region are futile. He highlighted the massive protests against this US president within America itself and declared that true power lies in calming these millions.
Expressing joy at the youth’s achievements in sports and science, which have brought joy to the nation and motivation to young people, he noted that their medals hold extra value due to the current soft war environment, where enemies try to demoralize and disappoint the nation.
Khamenei dismissed notions of despair among Iranian youth as unfounded, stressing that Iran and its youth are embodiments of hope, capable of reaching the highest summits with effort and determination.
He cited Iran’s leap in various scientific fields post-revolution, including nanotechnology, laser, nuclear, diverse military industries, and medical advances, mentioning recent breakthroughs like finding a cure for an incurable disease.
The Leader condemned enemy tactics aimed at undermining Iranian scientific progress through denial, misinformation, exaggerations, and biased propaganda, yet he affirmed that Iran’s bright path is clear to all due to the youths’ achievements.
He warned against losing faith in capabilities as an enemy strategy to sow despair, urging the youth to rely on their boundless energy to increase efforts in achieving success, hopefulness, and national strength.
Khamenei reminded that while some might prefer to live abroad, they remain strangers there; Iran is their true home and homeland. He rebuked the US president’s recent nonsensical claims regarding Iran and Middle East policies and emphasized American responsibility for regional conflicts.
The Leader highlighted the devastating Iranian missile attack on Israel during the 12-day war, which shocked Zionists who did not expect Iranian missiles to infiltrate sensitive sites.
He noted that these missiles are indigenous, created by Iranian youth’s efforts and scientific foundations, maintained and used by Iranian armed forces as needed.
Khamenei summarized the US president’s bluster as empty and bullying that, despite its influence elsewhere, will never affect the Iranian nation.
The event also featured a performance by the national youth team of ancient sport, which received the Leader’s praise.
