The Paralympic Week ceremony and the Festival of Great Determination were held magnificently with the participation of more than 800 members of the target community.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Federation , coinciding with October 15, National Paralympic Day, this joyful celebration took place at Shahid Beheshti Sports Hall in Mashhad with a large number of participants from the target community.
The event was organized through the efforts of the Paralympic Week Committee members and attended by the Director General and Deputies of Sports and Youth, the Director General and Deputies of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, Deputies of the Welfare and Special Education Departments of Khorasan Razavi Province, and representatives from the Provincial Federation of Public Sports.
Masoud Ashrafi, Head of the Paralympic Movement at the National Paralympic Committee and special guest of the festival, expressed appreciation in his brief remarks for the efforts of the Khorasan Razavi Federation and the Paralympic Week Committee.
Amir Zarei, Acting Director General of the Provincial Department of Sports and Youth, also reported on the activities carried out during this week and emphasized stronger support for war veterans and persons with disabilities in the province.
Honoring war veteran sports veterans and para-athlete champions in boccia and powerlifting was another highlight of the ceremony.
