The Iranian equestrian delegation participated with notable discipline and coordination in the Special Olympics MENA 2025, hosted by the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Public Relations office of the Federation and the Equestrian Federation website, on Monday, August 24, 2025 (3 Shahrivar 1404), horses were assigned to the riders, and the Iranian national athletes began practicing with their horses.
Additionally, the classification of Iranian riders, previously organized by Ms. Montazem, head of the Para-Equestrian Committee in Iran, received official approval at the Special Olympics panel.
At the opening ceremony of the event, Shoa Hasanpour, a talented female rider from Mazandaran, had the honor of carrying the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the representative of the Iranian delegation.
The team showed a unified and disciplined presence, adhering to behavioral and dress codes throughout the event. According to the competition schedule, Iranian riders will compete against their opponents on August 25 and 26, 2025 (4 and 5 Shahrivar).
