Message of Appreciation from the President of the Federation to the Minister of Sports and Youth

Dr. Jalil Koohpayehzadeh, President of the Federation, issued a heartfelt message expressing gratitude to Dr. Donya Donyamali, the honorable Minister of Sports and Youth, for allocating 20% of the provincial value-added budget to Paralympic sports and for targeted support to provincial and local committees of veterans and disabled athletes.

Excerpt from the Message:
“I extend my sincere appreciation to Dr. Donya Donyamali for her responsible, prudent, and justice-centered approach in allocating 20% of the provincial value-added distributed budgets to Paralympic sports. This wise decision clearly reflects a deep understanding of the importance of strengthening veterans and disabled sports and the critical role this esteemed community plays in national glory.

The targeted support to provincial and local veterans and disabled sports committees through the General Departments of Sports and Youth is an effective step toward enhancing the quality and quantity of sporting activities for this distinguished group across the country. This initiative undoubtedly promotes mass sports, discovers new talents, and strengthens championship infrastructure.

We consider this vision and decision a fundamental transformation in the development of veterans and disabled sports, which, while inspiring and motivating athletes, facilitates the path for future successes in Para-Asian and Paralympic competitions.

On behalf of the large family of  disabled sports in the country, I sincerely thank the honorable minister for this valuable and hopeful action and wish her increasing success in serving the sports community of our nation.”
