Live Results of International Boccia Competitions in Kazakhstan

The international boccia competitions are underway in Astana, Kazakhstan. According to the Public Relations office of the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation, the event began on Saturday, August 23, 2025 (1 Shahrivar 1404) with 56 athletes from 12 countries participating. The Iranian national boccia team is present with 8 athletes. The results of the Iranian athletes are as follows:

Day 1 – Saturday, August 23, 2025 (1 Shahrivar):

Individual Category:

Farshad Nikzadfar (BC1 class) won the preliminary match 11-2 against a competitor from Cyprus.

Mehran Afrashteh (BC3 class) won 7-4 against a host country representative.

Maryam Maleki Fallah (BC4 class) won 13-0 against a competitor from Uzbekistan.

Paria Piri (BC3 class) won 6-4 against an opponent from India.

Mousa Raoufian (BC2 class) won 6-1 against an opponent from Uzbekistan.

Mehran Afrashteh (BC3 class) won 5-2 in his second preliminary match versus a competitor from India.

Neda Ghaibi (BC1 class) won 5-4 against fellow Iranian Farzaneh Dolrami.

Paria Piri (BC3 class) lost 4-5 in her second preliminary match against a competitor from Saudi Arabia.

Maryam Maleki Fallah (BC4 class) won 5-3 against a South Korean representative in her second preliminary match.

Day 2 – Sunday, August 24, 2025 (2 Shahrivar):

Individual Category:

Mousa Raoufian (BC2 class) decisively won 12-0 against a Saudi Arabian competitor.

Neda Ghaibi (BC1 class) lost 3-10 in her second preliminary match to a host country athlete.

Farzaneh Dolrami (BC1 class) won 17-0 against an Uzbek competitor in her second preliminary match.

Mehran Afrashteh (BC3 class) lost 2-7 in his third preliminary match to an Italian opponent.

Hossein Esmaeili (BC4 class) won 9-1 against an Indian competitor.

Farshad Nikzadfar (BC1 class) lost 1-3 in his third preliminary match against a South Korean athlete.

Mousa Raoufian (BC2 class) won 7-0 against an Indian representative.

Paria Piri (BC3 class) lost 1-9 in her third preliminary match to a South Korean opponent.

Farshad Nikzadfar (BC1 class) lost 2-8 in his fourth preliminary match to a Saudi competitor.

Mehran Afrashteh (BC3 class) lost 2-5 in his fourth preliminary match to a South Korean competitor.

Maryam Maleki Fallah (BC4 class) won 5-2 against an Indian opponent.

With the conclusion of these matches, the second day of competition for the Iranian team in the Kazakhstan international boccia event ended.
