Elias Hazrati, Head of the Government Information Council, announced that this year’s Government Week slogan is “12 Months of Effort, 12 Days of Defense.”
According to the Public Relations office of the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation and an interview with the Government Information Portal, Hazrati explained that Government Week begins on August 24, 2025 (2 Shahrivar 1404) and coincides with the one-year anniversary of the 14th government’s tenure.
He noted that various events occurred during the past year, many imposed from abroad, culminating in a 12-day national defense against enemy aggression. Meanwhile, throughout the year, the government exerted all its efforts to address people’s problems, always standing alongside citizens and their demands.
Thus, the chosen slogan recalls the government’s steadfast presence with the people.
Hazrati emphasized that representing the government’s achievements in just one week is impossible, but an accompanying media package has been prepared, highlighting the importance of truthful reporting by all government bodies, similar to the sincere approach of President Pezeshkian.
The Government Information Council stresses avoiding inflated claims or presenting not-yet-inaugurated projects as achievements.
Referring to President Pezeshkian’s repeated calls for listening and avoiding conflicts, Hazrati affirmed that the government’s communication approach is based on these principles. The goal is not to create polarization or arguments but to use this opportunity to work diligently for the Iranian people. Government Week is also a time to listen to citizens and respond to their concerns.
