Dr. Seyyed Shahabeddin SaadatYar, Acting Head of the Education Department at the National Paralympic Academy, has announced that all Paralympic athletes are required to participate in the online global anti-doping course.
According to the Public Relations office and the National Paralympic Committee, due to the significance of global anti-doping educational courses and updated information provided in 2025 by the International Paralympic Committee, all Paralympic athletes are now obliged to complete these online courses. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has made it possible for athletes to access these courses online.
Dr. SaadatYar said: “All athletes entering the pathway toward elite competition must attend this training course and obtain the corresponding certificate.”
He further noted that the translated Persian version of the course is now available through the ADEL website, and it is recommended that athletes promptly register and begin training.
The deadline for completing this mandatory course is the end of 2025, and registration is possible using just an email address. After completing the course and earning certification, athletes are required to submit proof of attendance to the National Paralympic Academy. Currently, participation is not mandatory for coaches, technical staff, or team managers, though their involvement in the course is strongly encouraged.
