To enhance mental health and improve athletic performance, a 90-minute group psychology workshop was conducted by Dr. Rezvani, a sports psychologist, for the youth and senior national teams of para powerlifting, para swimming, and wheelchair basketball (both men’s and women’s teams).

According to the Public Relations office of the Federation, the workshop covered key topics such as emotion management during critical competitions, strengthening concentration and team cohesion, and coping strategies for psychological pressures. Following the group session, Dr. Rezvani held individual counseling meetings to address personal needs and concerns of each athlete, ensuring psychological interventions were precise and tailored.

This program is part of the comprehensive approach of the Federation’s Center for Education, Assessment, and Performance Evaluation to develop both the physical and psychological readiness of athletes before international competitions.
