Dr. Mahsa Ofoqi, Head of the Center for Education, Assessment, and Performance Evaluation of the Federation, announced the commencement of a series of specialized webinars aimed at training physical education teachers in exceptional (special) schools.
In an interview with the Public Relations office, Dr. Ofoqi referred to a memorandum of cooperation between the Federation’s Education Center and the Exceptional Education Organization of the country. She stated: “In joint sessions and after conducting field needs assessments, specialized training for elementary school teachers at exceptional schools—especially those whose academic background is not in physical education—was identified as one of the fundamental needs in this field.”
She added: “These webinars will be held weekly, taught by prominent experts in the field of sports for people with disabilities, and are free of charge. Our goal is to enhance the specialized knowledge of teachers, empower them to deliver education tailored to the needs of students with disabilities, and ultimately improve the quality of physical and sports activities in exceptional schools.”
Dr. Ofoqi explained that the courses utilize up-to-date scientific content and interactive teaching methods, preparing teachers to design creative and safe programs for sports activities.
