According to the Public Relations office of the Federation, the Level 3 Sitting Volleyball Coaching Course was held from August 3 to 7, 2025 (13–17 Mordad 1404), hosted by South Khorasan Province and supervised by the Federation’s Center for Education, Assessment, and Performance Evaluation.
The majority of the participants in this course were from the provinces of South Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan, and Kerman. The theoretical section was taught by distinguished professors from South Khorasan University, and every effort was made to maximize the use of local facilities and capacities throughout the course. This approach aligns with the Federation’s policy to provide training nationwide by relying on local and accessible resources for coaches and enthusiasts—thus reducing costly travel and expanding learning opportunities for more people.
The practical section of the course was led by Mohammadreza Rahimi, head coach of the national sitting volleyball team, which is preparing for dispatch to the international Nagoya competitions. His presence allowed local coaches to gain direct familiarity with the technical standards and training methods of the national team.
This course serves as a successful example of the Federation’s strategy to deliver high-quality educational programs using local resources, simultaneously ensuring easy access and enhancing coaches’ expertise.
