Condolence Message of the Federation on the Passing of Master Mahmoud Farshchian

IRISFD, with deep sorrow, extends its condolences on the loss of the distinguished artist and great painter of the nation, Master Mahmoud Farshchian, to his esteemed family, the cultural and artistic community of Islamic Iran, and all admirers of authentic Iranian art.

The text of the message is as follows:

Master Farshchian, not only as a distinguished artist but also as a devoted guardian of Iranian and Islamic cultural and artistic heritage, created eternal works that shine across time like a light. With his magical brush, he depicted the purest manifestations of Ashura art and Islamic mysticism in the most beautiful manner, leaving behind unique masterpieces such as The Patron of the Deer (Zamen Ahoo), The Evening of Ashura (Asr-e Ashura), and exquisite illustrations of the Shahnameh and Hafez Divan.

Master Farshchian’s boundless love and devotion to the sacred presence of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), especially Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), were reflected in both his works and his life. This deep affection reached its height during the days of mourning and Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, when he departed this world towards the Creator.

The Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation, while honoring the memory of this great master, prays for divine mercy and forgiveness for his noble soul and wishes patience and good health for his respected survivors.

His name and memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of art lovers.
