On the occasion of Journalist’s Day, August 8, 2025 (17 Mordad 1404), Dr. Jalil Koohpayeh Zadeh, President of the Federation, expressed gratitude for the years of dedication and influential role played by journalists in the dissemination of information, raising awareness, and development of sports in this field.
According to the Public Relations office of the Federation, during a press conference with media personnel, Dr. Koohpayeh Zadeh commemorated the memory of Martyr Sarami and described Journalist’s Day as a valuable opportunity to honor the position of media and the efforts of journalists. He stated:
“Journalists, through their effective role in explaining the programs and strategies to develop sports in this sector, have always been the communication bridge between the federation and the target community. Their efforts to reflect successes and raise public awareness deserve appreciation.”
The federation president emphasized the importance of the media’s role, noting:
“During the twelve days of the Sacred Defense, journalists endeavored to reflect realities. Their impactful performance marks a turning point in the history of journalism in the Islamic Republic of Iran and highlights the importance of media in narrating the truth.”
At the end of the press conference, Dr. Koohpayeh Zadeh wished health and increasing success for all journalists and media activists across the country, especially those in the sports domain, and honored members of the press by presenting them with a commemorative plaque.
