Uzomin’s Adventure Begins: Introducing Para Sports for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Para-Asian Games

Uzomin, the official mascot of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Para-Asian Games, has embarked on a journey to showcase and promote the sports featured in this continental event, starting with para table tennis.

According to the Public Relations office of the  Federation and quoting the National Paralympic Committee, the Organizing Committee of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Para-Asian Games has launched a series of visual presentations shared on the official Instagram and Twitter pages of the Games. In the first episode, Uzomin eagerly approaches para table tennis, enthusiastically attempting to learn its basic skills. Uzomin’s cheerful and determined expression reflects a strong passion and motivation to explore new sports.

The aim of this series is to raise public awareness of Paralympic sports, promote inclusive values, and build excitement ahead of the Games.

The 5th edition of the Para-Asian Games will be held from October 18 to 24, 2026 (26 Mehr to 2 Aban 1405), hosted by Japan in the cities of Aichi and Nagoya. This major event will bring together athletes with disabilities from across Asia, with Uzomin playing a key role in spreading its message and spirit.
