Dr. Morsalpour: Introducing the Federation of Sports for the Disabled to the Target Community Must Be a Priority

A meeting was held between officials of the Federation  and the Deputy Assistant to the Minister of Interior.

According to the Public Relations of the Federation , a session took place with the presence of federation officials and Dr. Morsalpour, Deputy Assistant to the Minister of Interior, in line with cooperation programs between the federation and the Social Deputy of the Ministry of Interior aimed at developing sports with a focus on reducing social harms among people with disabilities.

Dr. KoohpayeZadeh, President of the Federation, stated in this meeting:
“With this interaction and partnership, opportunities will arise to utilize the capacities and facilities of the Governorates and affiliated centers of the Ministry of Interior at the provincial level to implement the resolutions of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and help expand sports for the disabled and injured.”

In continuation, Dr. Morsalpour emphasized:
“In the first step, this federation and its capabilities must be introduced to the country, as part of the target community is still unfamiliar with the federation and its sports. Therefore, a practically executable plan should be proposed, and with the help of cooperating organizations, we should assist in the development of sports among the disabled and injured.”

Welcoming the proposed cooperation between the federation and the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Morsalpour added:
“We will exert all our efforts to facilitate the implementation of sports development for the disabled and injured by collaborating with relevant organizations affiliated with the Ministry of Interior and by supporting this plan, take a major step toward reducing social harms among people with disabilities.”
