The Board of Directors meeting of the Federation was held.

According to the Public Relations of the Federation, the Board of Directors meeting took place recently.

Dr. KoohpayeZadeh, President of the Federation, began by offering condolences on the occasion of the mourning days for Imam Hussein (AS). He expressed sympathy for the martyrdom of several commanders, scientists, and innocent compatriots in the brutal attacks by the Zionist regime and the criminal United States on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s soil. He also thanked and appreciated the armed forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for their proud defense of the country.

He continued: In the current situation, the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Injured has not neglected its social responsibility and invites the disabled veterans and injured affected by this incident to participate in community and competitive sports. Alongside all provincial committees, the federation supports these individuals to maintain their health and motivation.

The federation president added: We are on a path that requires accelerating our pace and utilizing virtual sports spaces. We must plan for both centralized and decentralized training camps and even hold provincial committees’ general assemblies online to ensure the continuity of the federation’s activities.

Dr. KoohpayeZadeh emphasized the high importance of the Para-Asian Youth Games in the UAE, as well as the qualification competitions for the Nagoya Para-Asian Games and the Los Angeles Paralympics. He stressed the need to plan today so that our national athletes attend these events fully prepared and the success of disabled athletes continues.

He further stressed the importance of establishing medical records and defining clear responsibilities for team leaders, coaching staff, and athletes regarding medical matters. The health of national athletes is crucial, and before any international event, their medication usage and medical examinations must be properly managed to avoid any medical concerns during competitions.

In conclusion, Dr. KoohpayeZadeh stated: We should prioritize holding adaptive coaching education courses to avoid limitations in selecting national team staff. Additionally, we will continue a series of educational webinars on artificial intelligence this year to foster necessary cultural awareness and benefit from the latest scientific methods worldwide.

Following this, the attending managers presented reports on their respective units’ performance.
