The Iranian women’s national sitting volleyball team secured their third consecutive victory to top Group B and advance from the preliminary round.
According to the Public Relations of the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Injured, the team faced Mongolia today at 9:30 AM Iran time and won decisively in straight sets with scores of 25-4, 25-8, and 25-13. This victory ensured their position as the leader of Group B and qualification to the next stage.
To advance to the final stage of the competition, the team will play on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time (9:30 AM Iran time) against the second-placed team from Group A.
These championships also serve as a qualification opportunity for the World Championship.
