Asia-Oceania Championship: Iran Women’s National Sitting Volleyball Team Defeats Australia

The Iranian women’s national sitting volleyball team secured a victory against Australia in their opening match at the Asia-Oceania Championship.

According to the Public Relations of the Federation , the Iranian women’s sitting volleyball team faced Australia today at 6:30 AM Iran time and won decisively in straight sets with scores of 25-5, 25-7, and 25-6.

The team will play their second match tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM local time (6:30 AM Iran time) against Japan. Their final preliminary round match will be against Mongolia on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time (9:30 AM Iran time).

These championships also serve as a qualification opportunity for the World Championship.
