Dr. Kouhpaye Zadeh stated that the memorandum was established to enhance scientific relations with universities and research centers nationwide. He expressed hope that, with the involvement of specialists in cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence, and sports sciences, this collaboration could expand across all educational, research, and academic sectors.
He added that this memorandum will serve as a gateway for all provincial boards to establish similar connections with universities of medical sciences and Islamic Azad University branches in their regions. The federation expects provincial boards to actively pursue these collaborations.
Dr. Ofoghi, Chair of the Federation’s Education Committee, explained that the memorandum aims to leverage the scientific capacities of the University of Tehran and the federation’s executive capabilities. He emphasized that artificial intelligence has become an essential tool for analyzing complex sports data, predicting injuries, enhancing athlete performance, and designing intelligent training programs. This memorandum represents the intersection of technological knowledge with the specific needs of disability sports and could serve as a national model linking science and para-sports.
