The first webinar in the five-part series organized by the Asian Paralympic Committee’s Medical Committee focused on increasing awareness of anti-doping methods in Paralympic sports.

According to the Public Relations of the Federation and citing the National Paralympic Committee, this inaugural webinar attracted 300 participants from various countries worldwide.

Dr. Afsaneh Golshan Raz from Iran served as the keynote speaker, with Dr. Jalil Kouhpaye Zadeh, Chair of the Asian Paralympic Medical Committee, also in attendance. Additionally, Dr. Shahaboddin SaadatYar, Director of Education at the National Paralympic Academy, facilitated the webinar.

This webinar series aims to enhance knowledge and improve performance in general and athlete-related areas within Paralympic sports. The second webinar in the series is scheduled for June 10, 2025.
