In line with the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Persons with Disabilities and the Iranian Physiotherapy Association, a Level One Specialized Sports Physiotherapy Course was held.

According to the Public Relations of the Federation, this course was hosted in Fars Province with the aim of training and supplying personnel for medical classification. The course was organized by the Sports Branch of the Iranian Physiotherapy Association over two days. Dr. Kianoush Zargarani, head of classification at the federation, and Dr. Nasrin Fouladi were present during the course.

The program covered topics including the Paralympic movement, principles of classification for disabled and impaired athletes, and the role of physiotherapy in common sports injuries.

This course was conducted to operationalize the cooperation agreement focused on providing and training individuals for medical classification and establishing physiotherapy treatment centers for disabled and impaired athletes in provincial centers.
