The coordination meeting for the National Para-Athletics League Championship in memory of Martyr Nourafshan was held today.
According to the Public Relations of the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Persons with Disabilities, the coordination meeting for the national athletics clubs league under the supervision of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), commemorating Martyr Nourafshan, took place at the federation. The meeting was attended by an IPC representative, Sobhan Parast as the technical representative of the National Paralympic Committee, managers and staff of the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Persons with Disabilities, representatives from the Federation of the Blind and Visually Impaired, officials of the Para-Athletics Association, and referees.
During the meeting, Hadi Zadeh, head of the Para-Athletics Association, reported on the progress of preparations and the competition schedule.
It is noted that the women’s competitions, with about 67 athletes participating in running and throwing events, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, May 14, and the men’s competitions, with 120 athletes, will take place on Friday, May 16, at the Aftab Enghelab Sports Complex.
