According to the Public Relations Department of irisfd, the Student Olympic Games (Gymnasiade) are currently underway in Serbia, where Iran’s national student para-athletics team has secured 9 medals—2 gold, 1 silver, and 6 bronze.
Hasti Shekouri claimed gold in the javelin throw, while Atena Nafarsifid Dashti took gold in the discus throw.
Amir Ali Zare earned a silver medal in the long jump.
The bronze medalists include:
Sara Rahimi and Hasti Shekouri (javelin throw)
Ayshan Ghanbari (discus throw)
Hossein Adib (discus, javelin, and shot put)
The Student Olympic Games in Serbia will continue until Sunday, with Iranian representatives competing in other sports disciplines.
