“This year, the quality of the IPC International Women’s Day Award winners was exceptional, and I congratulate the National Paralympic Committee of Iran. It is a great honor to know and collaborate with you.

The National Paralympic Committee of Iran has demonstrated that the path to development knows no borders or limitations. In the Paralympic movement, nothing is impossible, and this is the key to achieving equal opportunities and an inclusive future.

Change begins with sport. We believe that sport has the power to break down barriers and create equal opportunities for all people by fostering inclusive communities. Regardless of individuals’ apparent abilities, through sport, we honor their strength, resilience, and true potential, and we uphold their rights to participate in sports, excel, and inspire.”
