Dr. Koohpayehzadeh stated that the support of Dr. Donyamali has brought encouragement and motivation to the large family of veterans and disabled athletes.
Dr. Koohpayehzadeh, the federation’s president, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Donyamali, the Minister of Sports and Youth, for his unwavering support . He emphasized that this support has been instrumental in advancing the federation’s goals and expressed hope for continued collaboration to further elevate the status of Paralympic sports in Iran.
“I sincerely thank Dr. Donyamali for his comprehensive support of veterans and disabled sports. With his continued backing at both the federation and provincial levels, I am confident that the standing of Paralympic sports in Iran, which is largely shaped by the efforts of the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation, will be further enhanced. This valuable support from the Minister of Sports and Youth creates a highly promising environment for the development of veterans and disabled sports on a national scale,” Dr. Koohpayehzadeh said.
He added, “During a meeting at the Ministry of Sports and Youth attended by the minister and his deputies, we witnessed Dr. Donyamali’s all-encompassing support for veterans and disabled sports. The emphasis on the quantitative and qualitative development of sports in this field was particularly encouraging and motivating for the veterans and disabled sports community.”
Dr. Koohpayehzadeh highlighted that the Minister of Sports and Youth expressed strong support for women’s sports, sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and the inclusion of individuals with severe disabilities in sports. Additionally, Dr. Donyamali mentioned an increase in the federation’s budget for the upcoming year, proportionate to its activities, which brought great joy to the veterans and disabled sports community.
